LASERS USHER BHAGAVAT-GITA INTO NEW LIFE

Hi-Tech ISKCON Exhibit Teaches Ancient Truths via Novel Means

February 13 - The holy sanskrit script come alive in laser beams as the

Union HRD Minister Murli Manohar Joshi will launch the final stage of the

Bhagavad-Gita Experience at ISKCON Hinduja Glory of India Vedic Cultural

Center in East of Kailash, New Delhi.

The innovative exhibit draws on state-of-the-art multimedia technology to

reveal the Gita's views to the modern skeptical mind. As the cyberguide

walks unsuspecting visitors through, they will get a first-hand, sometimes

even startling, experience of what the Gita really has to say. Here guests

will delve into their bodies in search for atma, peep through their lives

into the next, and find collective escape from the invisible Matrix of maya.

"By using interactive multimedia in the service of the Gita," says ISKCON

New Delhi president Mahamantra Das, "we want to prove its message relevant

to the widest possible range of people - from young kids to erudite

intellectuals and all those in between."

The inaugural ceremony will start at 10:00 am with auspicious Vedic hymns.

Delhi Mayor Jai Shri Pawar, All-India Congress Treasurer Moti Lal Vohra and

Samajwadi General Secretary Amar Singh will be among the special guests of

the function.

ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) was founded in 1966

by the eminent Indian philosopher and spiritual leader A. C. Bhaktivedanta

Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977). It presently counts over 450 temples and

cultural centers worldwide. ISKCON seeks to establish India's spiritual

heritage globally and offers spiritual solutions to contemporary problems.
