Dear Devotees

PAMHO&AGTSP

Mayapur dham is every day better and better and the sensation that we feel

here is amazing with too many devotees from all over the world giving us

their association and sharing with us their realization and service to Srila

Prabhupada and Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu, it is great to see that every

morning senior devotees from different parts of the world are giving

lectures and leading kirtans as well having meetings with devotees, this

brings life to Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir.

This morning was little cool and nice with fog until almost 10:00 am and

today's lecture was giving by HG Prithu prabhu for English speakers and HH

BVV Narashimha Swami gave class to Bengali devotees assisted by a

translator.

Dina bandhu prabhu was leading the kirtan that was very ecstatic. HH Bhakti

Vijana Goswami was taking Srila Prabhupada in procession during SP gurupuja.

All the assisting members (GBC & IMM) took prasadam with the students in the

gurukula.

Tonight there was an elephant procession with Sri Sri Radha Madhava. Please

see pics in the website www.mayapur.info

HH Jayapataka Swami gave lecture in the rooftop of the lotus building about

Caitanya Lila.

March 9, 2002 (GBC Activities)

The morning session began with a presentation by Mr. Arnold Zack on Dispute

Resolution and Mediation. Mr. Arnold Zack (please see pics) He is considered

one of the world leading experts in Mediation.

Mr. Zack addressed the necessity to introduce a voluntary system for dispute

Resolution which would help avoid a lot of confrontation within our Society

and would help solve problems without bringing them to the GBC Body. Very

Informative presentation with an interesting question and answer sessions.

After that Mr. Bob Kovachevich continued his presentation on Strategic

Planning. Yesterday the members adjourned at agreeing on the top six

Strategic goals for ISKCON, which are:

1. -Develop a Global Vision

2. -Educate, Train and Care for Devotees

3. -Better Organize ISKCON Leadership

4. -Create an Effective Fund Raising Program

5. -Create and sustain an Effective Outreach Program

6. -Counter Threats to ISKCON

So today the GBC members and Deputies formed six groups, one for each goal.

The groups' chairmen will communicate with Bob throughout the year to

formulate the objectives and tactics for achieving each of these goals...

and get things moving forward!

In the afternoon, Danavir Maharaja gave a presentation on the Ministry for

Recruiting and Training Devotees, and Sesa and Braja Bihari Prabhus

presented the Ministry for Education Development. Dhira Govinda Prabhu had

another 45 min for Child Protection education. The afternoon session

concluded with a video promo for the Moscow temple.

The participants in the ISKCON Managers Meeting (IMM) attended the morning

session and began their annual meeting in the afternoon.

Today the Bhaktivedanta Gurukula invited all GBC and IMM meeting

participants for lunch. Everyone was delighted by the excellent prasadam and

service, and the spiritually surcharged atmosphere.

Please visit our website www.mayapur.info for more information and pictures

I am happy to inform that we had 16.630 hits in our website www.mayapur.info

for yesterday only which encourage us to always serve devotees more and more

and try to keep them updated and make them feel that in someway or other

they are present here in the Holy dham.

Srila Prabhupada ki jaya!
