Raths built according to the book have the unique feature of being

transportable long or short distances by hitching to a truck or tractor. (No

need of laborious disassembly or hiring expensive trailer truck. The rath's

chassis is itself a specially designed trailer chassis -- approved and

approvable by state transport departments -- with all steel construction

designed according to standard engineering principles... leaf springs etc.

For transport the large procession wheels are removed and replaced by truck

wheels, just like changing tires on a car.)

 

Tested and proved -- more than fifteen raths built by the author (in India

and adjacent countries) to the acclaim of devotees, members, the public and

the media. In addition, raths have been built (Berlin, Coimbatore, etc.) by

following the book alone.
