Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Are you considering leaving the rat race before January 1, 2000? This beautiful 880 square foot two bedroom apartment is situated on the lot in the grhastha housing that the local devotees consider the best lot on ISKCON property. This is due to having 5 kinds of mature fruit trees(mango, guava, grapefruit, kool, and banana) on the property that give delicious fruit and cooling shade. There is also ample garden space with extremely rich soil that has been heavily composted for years. The apartment has all the amenities to ease a devotee from the West through the difficulties of adjusting to life in India: 1. Air conditioned rooms. 2. Hot water heater 3. Fully stabilized electricity for the entire apartment with three hours of battery backup. 4. Eqipped with low voltage flourescent light bulbs 5. 180 Feet (most are only 80 feet) deep well providing very clear, clean water that will not plug pipes. 6. All the kinks have been worked out of this apartment. There will be no surprises. You can concentrate on hearing, chanting and serving. 7. A shaded roof (the only one in the housing area) with a with a beautiful view of the Ganga. 8. A very short walk to the Ganga. The devotees of the other three families situated in the building are mature, established, friendly and helpful devotees that will give their new neighbor nothing but positive, loving support in taking up service and residence in the Holy Dham. We know this from our own experience. Our kids are very happy here as they have plenty of children their age to play with, they like the day school, and they can go swimming in Ganga Mata everyday. All the children love it here. Our boys are growing up and they need their own room, so we have purchased a three bedroom apartment. We are consequently selling our apartment and have conservatively set the price at $29,000. We plan on selling by Gaura Purnima, so if you are interested please respond privately ASAP. Incidentally, most experts feel Y2K will not hit India as hard hit as the rest of the world because not as much computerization has taken place here as in the highly industrialized countries. India also has a huge brain bank of computer engineers and scientists addressing this problem. Sri Mayapur Dham...I couldn't think of a better place to be for the new millenium.
