Guest guest
Dear Devotees, CULTURAL TROUPE AVAILABLE FOR FESTIVAL PERFORMANCES IN S.E.ASIA/AUSTRALIA/NZ FROM DEC 99 TO FEB 2000 Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, saviour of the whole world! By the great vision and transcendental foresight of Srila Prabhupada, he established Ranganiketan. Where religious preaching is not directly possible/suitable, the door is always open through culture. For example, in 1997, our artistes had the pleasure of performing before 10,000 students and the President of Egypt, loudly chanting "Hare Krishna", in a spirit of brotherhood through cultural exchange. On Srila Prabhupada's order, Ranganiketan functions under the guidance of our beloved Guru Maharaj, His Holiness Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami Maharaj (a.k.a. Dr T D Singh, International Director of the Bhaktivedanta Institute). Please allow me to present some information about our troupe. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This is the 10th consecutive year that Manipuri artists from Ranganiketan are touring the world and presenting India's goodwill message for peace and friendship through the language of arts & Culture. Arjuna had married a princess from Manipur. Srila Prabhupada mentions his desire for Manipur's revival of Krishna Consciousness in Srimad Bhagavatam, Purport to vers 9:22:3. ===================================== We shall be touring South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand from Dec 99 to Feb 2000.
