Dear Maharajas and Prabhus,

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

The Book Distribution Academy opened its doors during this Mayapur festival

and is now nearly completed thanks to the wonderful contributions of

dedicated devotees from all over the world.

 

We already spend 260 000US$ on the building. This money was collected

within one yearÕs time, mainly from room sales and my personal sources.

However now in order to finalize construction and the interior of the

Academy will cost another 28 000US$. This includes last construction and

painting works and planting trees and flowers in the garden. The library is

also still empty. It will require furniture and books.

 

In other words we are asking for donations of a total of 28 000 US$.

 

I am personally responsible for this project, but since I am already doing

a full time service as BD minister, I am unable to collect these funds

myself so I would like to share with you the opportunity to do a unique

service for Srila Prabhupadas sankirtan movement.

 

We are humbly asking those devotees who are inspired by the endeavors of

the BD Ministry and this BDS conference to make a one-time donation towards

this project. This project exists for the training of devotees thus it

represents a milestone in the development of education and book distribution

in the world.
