Dear Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am an initiated disciple of HH Hridayananda Maharaja, originally from

South India. I was residing and teaching in Mayapur Gurukula from 1992-96. I

was teaching English, Sanskrit and Gita slokas, and was also an asrama

teacher briefly. I also used to tutor temple devotees and visiting

non-English speaking devotees as a regular service.

In 1996, I was to have gone to Switzerland for preaching on the behest of

the Tamil congregation there. Gaura Lila Prabhu was arranging this for me,

but it didn't materialize due to some technical hitches.

Since August 1996, I have been here in Bombay. I have a job in an

advertising agency as Client Servicing Supervisor, and also do private

tutoring in English, for which there is a good demand here in Bombay. I am

supporting my wife and two sons, aged 12 and 14, by this. I am maintaining

my sadhana and trying to develop the congregation in Andheri in my free

time.

It has been my desire to get closer association of devotees to keep me

inspired in Krsna consciousness. At the same time I need to continue to

support my family. Therefore I am writing to you for any suggestions you may

have that would help me get a satisfying job or seva abroad, which could

fulfill both my needs.

I have a post-graduate degree (M.A.) in Economics and English Literature,

and have worked for more than 18 years in Advertising. I am adept at Public

Relations and Editing. I am fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi and Sanskrit.

During my stay in Mayapur, I was able to study Srila Prabhupada's books and

do some preaching, which I have been to continue. I can provide, if

necessary, references from devotees in Mayapur.

If you have any idea or suggestion for me, I would be very happy and

grateful to hear from you. Please reply to this address, and Ananda Tirtha

Prabhu will relate it to me.

I hope this meets you well and blissfully engaged in devotional service.

Your servant,

Krsnanath Das
