PAMHO.

I am forwarding this answer from Srila Acaryapada to this conference. The

original letter sent by Srila Acaryapada was sent long time ago to a

different conference.

Here's the story about showing Srimati Radharani's lotus feet, gleaned from

a conversation with Ramabhadra in New York:

In Gita-nagari, Srimati Radharani's lotus feet are seen once a year, on

Radhastami. This is by personal instruction from Srila Prabhupada.

In the temples in Vrndavana, Her feet are shown once a year on Gopastami

(just passed), when She is dressed as a cowherd boy. I asked Ramabhadra if

the pujaris can show Her feet on that day even if She is not dressed as a

cowherd boy, and he said yes. The general principle is that Her feet can be

shown once a year, preferably on Gopastami.
