Lord Balarama's disappearance

A little information regarding this:

 

>From SB 11.30.26

 

"Lord Balarama then sat down on the shore of the ocean and fixed Himself in

meditation upon the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Merging Himself within

Himself, He gave up this mortal world".

 

I also remember from a Mahabharat book I read in my pre-ISKCON life that Sri

Balarama sat in meditation at Prabhasa on the shores of the ocean. A serpent

then came out of His mouth and slided into the ocean.

 

I hope I have done some favourable devotional service by supplying this
