Guest guest
Dear Srila Acharyapada, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Your Divine Grace. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I had an argument with one devotee regarding the relationship of Radha and Krishna. I am standing on the understanding that they have a pure aesthetic (joking, poetic) character and devoid of the "gross" sexuality, similar to mundane "love". His point is that their relationship externally do not differ from the kind ordinary so-called man and woman have, yet they differ internally by their spiritual nature. He says there are writings where all this is lucidly described (something I am not sure). He cosiders my premise limiting All-potent God. Again, I disagree: the fact that Krishna does not indulge in something does not mean that His All-mightness is undermined, simply He can obtain the same thing in a more subtle way. That is His rasa, or mood. Which understanding is more correct, Your Divine Grace? ys Abhinanda d.
