direct knowledge: Knowledge by perception of the senses;

 

knowledge received from authorities: Knowledge handed down from superior

spiritual authorities, ie. Spiritual Master, etc. through descending process

 

transcendental knowledge: stage liberated from material concept of life

allowing one to perceive transcendental realities by the Lord's mercy;
