Isn't that an extreme level of love!? It is an extreme level of love!? Certainly this level of love is "out of this world!" or totally transcendental. > Some devotees say that the guru doesn't actually come back for the > disciple, that his representitive in the parampara does it. which is > correct according to visnava sastra? > > In service of Srila Prabhupada > Mahakratu das Srila Prabhupada wrote to me confirming that the Spiritual Master is responsible to deliver the disciple including coming back to deliver the disciple. Even if the Guru has other options of getting the disciple back, the "bottom line" is that if all else fails the guru himself will be responsible to return and deliver the disciple. The commitment is there. In the meantime if another devotee can see the disciple gets delivered then it is a wonderful devotional service for the Spiritual Master.
