Due to my > insincerity I keep finding excuses not too. So I want to know how I can > become more sincere. There are various factors. Sometimes someone is lazy in spiritual life. The know it is the right thing to do, but they are too lazy to do it. It is mode of ignorance affecting ones sincerity. Sometimes one knows it is the right thing to do, but it doesn't fit in with ones personal desires and material motivations so one avoids doing ones duty due to material attachments. It is mode of passion and ignorance that are affecting. Sometimes one knows one should do pure devotional service, but due to attachment to some mundane morality, cleanliness, and other aspects of the mode of Goodness one might avoid doing pure devotional service. Like Yudisthira hesitating to say "Aswatthama is dead!!" when Lord Sri Krishna asked him to do so due to thinking it would be a lie. So one has to become most attached to Lord Sri Krishna and His pure devotees so that one can overcome all other attachments due to ignorance, passion or goodness. [is there anyone reading this who wants me to pray for them to develop strong attachment for Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu and the spiritual master?]
