Thankyou for your question cited below with my comments. > Dear Jayapataka Swami, please accept my humble obeisances. > All glories to Srila Prabhupada! > > I would like to ask few question about bhoga offering in few dif. letters. The following system is for non-brahmanas. Brahmanas would also say Gayatri and possibly do some other rituals with I am not bringing up here: > 1 I was thinking that ussual bhoga offering should be done like this: > offering with tulasi l. is offered to the Deities + SM and Param Gurus > pictures and Radha Krsna picture. > > nama om visnu padaya... > namo maha vadanyaya... > namo brahmanya devaya... > > The same 3 times. Then after 10-15 min(it depends) Each mantra three times while ringing a bell and paying obeisances. > 1 time the same 3 mantras. I didn't hear this additional 4th time anywhere previous to this. > But now devotees try to convince me in other way of serving the food to > Krsna. Clarify please. Srila Prabhupada personally told me that if a plate of fruit or bhoga is placed before Lord Sri Krishna's photos during a sankirtan program then simply by chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra it could be considered prasadam. However, generally the devotees are formally offering if possible. > Hope this meets You well and in nice health > Ys Masa I hope that this finds you in good health.
