Guest guest
Home Base: Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir, Navadwip Dhama, Nadia, WB, INDIA > Maybe you could be so kind to tell us here in temple Amsterdam if it is > propper to put the instruments which are non different from Lord Balarama > on the floor or on a coushen where we sit on. > Some of us new devotees learned it from more advanced devotees, but see > from time to time that elder devotees of the Lord are just putting them > directly on the floor. Srila Prabhupada didn't like bead bags put on asanas since feet touch the asana as well. Those who want to respect the paraphernalia of the Lord could be careful and make some special arrangement for the Lord's divine astras. In India those who respect Mrdanga's cover them with a cloth cover and then it doesn't touch the ground. Special Mrdanga seats are also available. They are oval in shape. As far as Karatalas and other things, usually a basket or box is used for their save keeping. I hope that this finds you in good health. Always your well wisher, Jayapataka Swami
