Guest guest
Dear Gurudeva, Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. In Bg 2.22 p, Srila Prabhupada says, "One who lays down his life on the sacrificial altar, or in the proper battlefield, is at once cleansed of bodily reactions and promoted to a higher status of life." I have heard human sacrifice described in other cultures, but I thought it was pretty much worship in the mode of ignorance. Is it actually Vedic, and if so is there a Kali Yuga equivalent, eg sankirtana yajna to cleanse one of bodily reactions? your servant, Deva Gaura Hari Das ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
