He was very rough, Saci Devi was affraid, without any > reason he was breaking things. I know that His pastimes are > uncomprehensable and absolut, but I'd like to understand His mood and not > make offences. When Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu was young and not allowed to go to school by His father He acted naughty since He wanted to study and His point was if He wasn't allowed to study how would He know what was right or wrong. Knowledge gives us discrimination. > - Was His name Caitanya or in CB is written Chaitanya - what is right? Caitanya is written in diacritics. the "C" is pronounced "ch" in diacritics. In Diacritics like we write KRSNA with dots under the r,s and n. > - Srivas Thakur wasn't a young person, he was a grown up man when Nimai > was born, but at the pictures of Sri Panca Tattva he looks like a young > devotee. That is the artists licence. He should be shown as an adult. Of course, Srivas Thakur was a very pious devotee and he didn't grow old fast like sinful people do. > - What is the meaning of Lord's names Gaura-simha, Gaura-siromani, > Nagara-bihari? With which pastimes are they connected? Gaura-simha means Gauranga Who is like a Lion. It refers to His pastimes of enthusiastic preaching and intensity. Gaura-siromani: Siromani means "crown jewel". This name is referring to how Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the best and greatest. Could mean best devotee, best brahmana, best Avatara, etc. Nagara-bihari: Nagara means towns and streets. Bihari means one who enjoys something. So nagara bihari seems to indicate Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu's pastimes of harinama in the streets of the towns and villages. > Thank You for Your time and attention, > Your spiritual niece bhn. Metka Sorry for the delay in replying. Seems there is some different name for my conference and that confused me as it put a different directory in my wincom program which I hadn't seen. I hope that this finds you in good health. Your ever well wisher, Jayapataka Swami
