Guest guest
another question from a mother for her son: > My son also would like to know who he was in his > previous life and he will become in the next. Thank you for replying his > questions. Normally we forget our previous life as an arrangement from nature to get a fresh start and a clear consciousness. One can find out what one's previous birth was in a number of ways. One is to consult a great mystic and realized soul like Narada Muni or Visistha Muni. They are not so readily available so that isn't such a practical option right now. I am not such a person who can tell you your previously life unless it is revealed to me by Lord Sri Krishna as a special benediction. Another way to find out your previous life is to consult someone who has the Brighu Samhita. Brighu Muni is a great saint and authority in astrology and he has written a book which tells all who will consult it what their previous birth was and why they got this present birth. I have a disciple in south India who is a famous astrolgoy and he has this book in case you want to ask him. More recently some modern hypnotists and Psychiatrists have become accomplished in performing "regressions" whereby they claim they are able to take people back into their sub-conscious remembrances of their previous life. This is a field I have hear about, but I don't know how reliable or save it is. Some persons have done it and reported favorable results. I don't want to take any risk for recommending it, but simply am mentioning that such a process exists. Actually it isn't so important to know what our previous life was. That is more or less academic in importance. What is really important is to plan ahead for what our next life will be! Krishna consciousness is meant to help us plan our next life and get back to the Spiritual World so we can be freed from the cycle of birth and death. I hope that your son will take advantage of Krishna consciousness and get out of the cycle of reincarnation in this very life. I hope that this finds you in good health.
