Guest guest
Home Base: Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir, Navadwip Dham, Nadia, WB, INDIA Camp: Vaisnava Bhakti Seminars, Premantura Summer Camp, Pula, Croatia here are some questions about Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu: > - Was His name Caitanya or in CB is written Chaitanya - > what is right? - Caitanya is transliterated spelling and Chaitanya is english spelling. > Srivas Thakur wasn't a young person, he was a grown up > man when Nimai was born, but at the picturs of Sri Panca Tattva he looks > like a young devotee. That is the artists interpretation. He was older, but devotees don't look so old as they are. > - What is the meaning of Lord's names Gaura-simha, Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu Who is strong like a lion. > Gaura-siromani Gaura means Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Siromani literally means "crown jewel" or in that context it means the best of personalities. >, Nagara-bihari? With which pastimes are they connected? Nagara means streets and Bihari means enjoying. So Nagara Bihari means one who is chanting in the streets Harinama sankirtana.
