to tie or not to tie (the hair)

Question:

Answer:

 

It is the vedic sign of a chaste woman to keep her hair tied except in the

private presence of the husband. I heard that untied hair attracts ghosts,

but I have never seen anything in writing about the benefits of tieing the

hair.
