What I heard from some version of Puranas is that Queen Kayadu mother of

Prahlad became afraid that if she gives birth to Prahalad the devas may kill

him. So she waited for the arrival of Hiranyakashipu, and she gave birth to

Prahlad. I don't know the authencity of this.
