I know someone who wore Tulasi beads while a non-veggie and after putting

them on he became a vegetarian. TULASI DEVI KI JAYA!!!!!!

 

Generally in India they say that it is offensive to eat meat if wearing a

tulasi bead. I haven't seen it in writing, but it is the general custom.

If someone buys his own tulasi beads and wears them it is his own

responsibility.
