This question has been bothering me for many years!! > > Sincerely, > Charu Well if we take the Bhagavad Gita's definition then intelligence is one of the subtle bodies. It is responsible for discrimination and analysis. The mind is more mechanical and just brings up from the archives thoughts and ideas that seem to meet the current demands of either the senses or intelligence. If the mind isn't directed by the intelligence then it tends to echo the sensual impulses. Intelligence is most important to succeed in Bhakti Yoga which is also known as Buddhi Yoga or the Yoga of intelligence. I don't know if this is what you were looking for. So I just gave a short reply. Yours in service, Jayapataka Swami
