We have a duty to survive as far as possible and continue to serve Lord Sri

Krishna until our last breath. The Lord should decide when we leave not

that we have to fast until death. Suicide isn't an option for devotees as

per Srila Prabhupada. If no food was sent then one would anyway die by

fasting. In this case some food was sent and for surviving it was an

emergency. In emergencies normal rules can sometimes be suspended. Life and

death and survival are that kind of emergency. Rarely, if ever, would

anyone be put into that kind of situation.
