My Dear Spiritual Son,

Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada who has

compassion all the fallen souls of this material world and is their greatest

well wisher by giving them pure Krsna Consciousness. Thankyou for your

letter which I have read carefully. My comments are given below.

We know that if one has a sikha long enough to tie one should tie it. I

don't know about a sikha which is too short to tie. But male devotees are

recommended to have a sikha. so if your hair is too short I don't see any

problem. It seems that sometimes Srila Prabhupada's sikha was short and

untied, but that wasn't a problem. I have never heard of cutting off the

sikha for this reason.

I hope this finds you blissful in Krsna consciousness and healthy.

Your well wisher always,

Jayapataka Swami
