Better lose with Srila > Prabhupada (...) How can you say such a thing? This is just the kind of mentality that is dragging the whole ISKCON movement now in this horrible court case. I personally can't stand this kind of statement on Srila Prabhupada's behalf. I am sorry if I have to speak up again. Srila Prabhupada was a winner and as his followers, we have a duty to our Founder-Acarya to also win on His behalf, and not drag Him instead to court, because of our immature: understanding, behaviors, personal applications of His instructions to all of us, weird practices, some GBC's implementations of various thoughtless laws or decisions, etc. We have to learn to take advice from pure, knowledgeable and mature devotees and follow these pieces of advice thoroughly, if we ever want to avoid major crises in ISKCON. That is why we are now proposing this GBC Restructure conference. We want to avoid, that this kind of philosophy, ever again permeates through ISKCON and affects our whole Society. But winning also means we should in the > consciousness Lord Krishna taught Arjuna - understanding we are not the > doer. But, doing our own duty, nevertheless, and not the one of somebody else! That is what is most pleasing to Krsna in society as stated in the Visnu Purana: "The Supreme personality of Godhead, Lord Visnu, is worshipped by the proper execution of prescribed duties in the system of varna and asrama. There is no other way to satisfy the Supreme Lord." Please kindly listen to Srila Prabhupada's tape on Oct 24, 1972. It is a great source of inspiration. Hare Krsna Devi Dasi's last article on Varnasrama, in the July/August BTG, is also a great mine of information. Hopefully ISKCON's head will start realizing (vijnana) Srila Prabhupada's point on this issue, after reading all these wonderful texts. I am still praying for that, and I need all your blessings in this attempt. Your faithful servant, Krsna-kirtana dasi.
