Guest guest
Dear Srirama Prabhu, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I hope you are doing well. Please allow me first to tell you something about myself in this private letter. Despite the fact that: my material body is 57 years; we joined ISKCON 15 years ago; by the mercy of my spiritual master HH Bhakti Caru Swami I was initiated 10 years ago; we have tried to render service as vice-president, as TP, and again as vice-president of the Antwerp ISKCON Nama Hatta Centre in Belgium (the service I'm still rendering), I still feel as a neophyte devotee, one who has to learn a lot. That's why I'm not a regular contributor of this very interesting and needful conference. I like to read all the different comments on the different treads. However, I'm not so educated and mature in ISKCON as are the other well respected members, Prabhupada disciples or not. I'm not that kind of devotee that likes to play an active role in changing GBC. All we want to do is preaching. Together with my well-respected wife we try to bring Krishna consciousness to the people as our spiritual grandfather Srila Prabhupada thought all of us to do. But this is impossible without the proper guidance of the spiritual master. Therefore it is my strong feeling that the GBC should be restructured as soon as possible, especially on the topic guru / non-guru as a member of the GBC. That I have clearly expressed during the first voting session. After reading all the proposals and comments in GBC Restructure I have good hope that for sure there will come a restructured GBC. But please DON'T TAKE TO MUCH TIME; we have already passed 'high noon'. Please go on with the good work. Please forgive any offence I have made. Your servant, M€dhava d€sa P.S.: If you think this letter should be in the conference, please feel free to do so. Although I'm convinced the text is not fit for that.
