Who is 'we'? Your opinion is certainly not one that Srila Prabhupada

shared. You are forgetting a few very important points:

 

1. That the Mayapur Temple project was Srila Prabhupada's idea.

 

2. That the vision of Sri Mayapur Dham was seen by Srila

Bhaktivinoda Thakura, and Srila Prabhupada was acting on this

vision when he expressed his desire to build it.

 

3. 'We' do not build temples to 'attract materialists', we build

them for the glorification of the Supreme Lord.

 

I believe that this might bear some resemblance to ISKCON's purposes - not

something that you might object to out of misplaced sentiment.
