We need to move ahead now with our proposal > otherwise our timing will be out. I think so also. The main idea is baked good enough. And the Rubicon got to be crossed at one point.. BTW, I got this one little proposal, too. An amnesty for sannyasis. What I mean, this revolutionary changes in the sannyas asrama might find perhaps quite some individuals hopelessly cornered. Think about all those ksatriyas that took sannyas in ISCKON, in the time when to be a sannyas and ksatriya in the same time went along, unchecked. What will happen? They can't simply turn into brahmanas (didn't work for Arjuna either). Nor can they remain doing as they used to. Nor a fall down is an option.. I guess, what's left to them would be to fight bloody nails and teeth against the implementation of any such "sva-dharma" reforms. So, why not have the Ultimate Authority proclaim an amnesty to all ISCKON sannyasis, so that every and each individual may sit down and think and reconsider their sannyas status, in the newly given circumstances. And then make the final and actual decision wether to really take sannyas or not, this time. After that, no more "jo-jo" with marrying or not marrying, no more "surprising" realizations about one's actual nature.. No more some transition committees to have them easier change the asram. And those sannyasis who decide not to take sannyas (this time), they are not to be looked upon disrespectfully, it shouldn't be something to be seen as a fall down, but rather as the way of putting things into their right places, after all. Well, after all, maybe it is a silly idea. But that's what I would like to see to happen, anyway. Get it back to the start-line, there seems to be far too much mush on the runway. - mnd
