Getting spoken free from the given oats of taking and following a sannays order of life. Thus avoiding to be seen as a "fallen sannyasi", in the case of those finding themselves as not willing or interested to follow the proposed sannyas sva-dharma life style. Thus there is no fall down, factually. Simply a chance to re-establish oneself more appropriately, and to perhaps prevent eventual fall-down due to incompatibilities in between one's nature (varna) and the sannyas asrama, as well as. > > If it is the former, I think forgiveness would be forthcoming. If it is > the latter, it would be an issue that would require much discussion imho. Though it wasn't meant to mean the former, it also could be there, in some extent. With the very acceptance of the proposed reforms, the ill feelings, that were existing there due to possible wrongdoings committed in due course of time, usually get washed away thus. Of course, the offences committed on the personal level can be forgiven only on that level also, so this would be in the domain of one's private life. And for those who are managerially very active type (I read this - ksatriya type), they may stay on the GBC, but not as sannyasis. So this given choice of not continuing as a sannyas, in the given circumstances of newly defined sannyas asram in ISCKON, was what I meant, basically. - mnd
