You're questioning why those who claim to be followers yet propose different opinions are "confused", yet now you say it's not up to you to say if they're right or wrong. I maintain my point that it is simple to decipher who is right and who is not, if one's intelligence is fixed and one has an understanding of the subject matter. If one is not in possession of the facts, how can one even begin to understand. > But that's my point. I have personally held many discussions and arguments with people who are as sure of Srila Prabhupada's principles as I am, and the fact that we differ in our opinion of how those principles are to be executed doesn't phase us a bit. To me, the greatest confusion seems to be present when there is a lack of knowledge. There's a famous quote, "I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with one who is unarmed". It's the same with knowledge. Confusion over details is limitless. And I certainly believe there is room for a difference of opinion. No successful organisation wants a battalion of sheep-like followers, and certainly Prabhupada condemned the same approach. braja

Sorry if that was unclear. >I have personally held many discussions and arguments with people who are as >sure of Srila Prabhupada's principles as I am, and the fact that we differ >in our opinion of how those principles are to be executed doesn't phase us a >bit. OK. Me neither. >No successful organisation wants a battalion of sheep-like >followers, Very true. That's one of the things I like best about Kundali's writings: his uncompromising insistence on thinking. madhu
