Guest guest
Braja, Let me give you this example. There were a great many people that had a great time, made a lot of money and enjoyed a great deal of power under Nazi Germany. And they died bragging how terrific it was and dismissive of those that were not happy. The point is that there is a thresh hold of experience wherein if 70% or 80% of the people have the experience, it then becomes something more then 'narrow-mindedness.' It becomes history. The problem with failing to recognize it is that you then miss the lessons of it. In your case, there are children being raped to day and you want to talk about it as if it is a Bhagatam class. This attitude is the sole reason why the abuse went on and on, because we talked of posturing rather then what can be done to stop it. So let me ask you this, What can you do to stop the molestation going on right now there in India? If you having nothing to contribute on this topic, there are many other forums to talk about 'real preaching.' Please do not divert the focus of this discussion from this topic. raghu GBC.Unmoderated (AT) pamho (DOT) net [GBC.Unmoderated (AT) pamho (DOT) net] On Behalf Of Braja Monday, February 18, 2002 6:42 AM M. My point was that it's easy to be misled into thinking that the whole world thinks the same way we do [atmavan manyate jagat] - it is simply not the case, is it? This kind of narrow-mindedness is really a stumbling block - usually to one's own advancement. Ys Braja Sevaki dd
