Between the two of us, I'm the only who has effected some change with a

spiritual solution among abused victims. The reunions which I started

have done more then all your preaching combined to inspire them in their

spiritual life. A critical element of that is the clarity of shelter and

justice for without, you have nothing but the greatest hypocracy which

is the issue at stake with much of the preaching being done today. Our

preaching has been seriously comprised on many fronts by these issues

and remains so until we resolve them. Unfortunately, some can not see

the critical conection between the two. It is a karmic dynamic that must

be resolved until you can progress as a society much as a man can not

progress effectively in spiritual life if they are beating up devotees.

One destroys the other. One must stop before the other activities of

spiritual life can really take full effect. These issues of justice and

protection for children must be implemented before we can move to the

next step as society of devotees both in our own community as well as

the world outside. This is the opportunity that krsna is allowing you to

be part of if you have the humility to see these unique service.

As for my attendance, I was asked specifically by those on this

conference--not Radha, about this situation and I answered accordingly.

Who invited you?

What are you doing here?

I believe it's the other way around. What are _you_ doing here? You

say you are here to stop child-abuse. Are you doing that by whining

about it here in an ISKCON forum?. In case you hadn't noticed but

ISKCON is dedicated to the propagation of Srila Prabhupada's

teachings. ISKCON's mission is not to stop child-abuse per se, but to

stop material life all together. We all know Srila Prabhupada's

opinion about mundane, social or political welfare work. He said that

it was useless and pointless.

Neither you nor Madhusudani Radha nor any of your cronies seem to be

interested in a spiritual solution, so what are you doing here?

Very good point!

In the same way as one has to work on stopping the slaughtering of innocent

animals one has to also work on stopping child-abuse.

Srila Prabhupada writes:

--------------------

"Maharaja Pariksit said that only the animal-killer cannot relish the

transcendental message of the Supreme Lord. Therefore if people are to be

educated to the path of Godhead, they must be taught first and foremost to

stop the process of animal-killing as above mentioned. It is nonsensical to

say that animal-killing has nothing to do with spiritual realization."

(SB 1.3.24, Purport)

--------------

I would similarly say that it is nonsensical to say that Child-abuse has

nothing to do with spiritual realization.
