That's true. Therefore it is good to have the philosophy to become enlightened by. We can take refuge in the three qualities that are required to pursue bhakti - patience, tolerance, and perseverence. These rules and regulations are not there to oppress but to liberate. You can actually find peace and tolerance in the thought that even when everything turns against you, if you just endure, if you just have patience and tolerance, Krishna will pull through for you in the end. Just see what Prabhupada endured. He is unrivaled in endurance. Imagine he meditated for 33 years on how he could fulfil the mission of his spiritual master. > Perception of time is relative. What is "just the beginning" may be > already a half of ones life... Not if you consider that you have to come back and continue where you left off.
