Please note that it is largely the same crew of people here which were in Topical Discussions when blatant disregard and ridicule of Srila Prabhupada were going on. Ekanath posted pure filth and Madhusudani Radha told us how none of us can know how to properly interpret and understand Srila Prabhupada teachings. I didn't hear any of you, who are now so alarmed by my rudeness, speak up then. None of you seemed to mind in the least the fact that Srila Prabhupada's authority was being undermined and discredited. You were there yourself and not once did you speak up against it. Or do you have a selective memory as well? So while it may be fine sentiments you are displaying here I am afraid they are rather misplaced. I agree with that, Mukunda Datta prabhu. My doubt is, should we also treat people like ladies and gentlemen who are not ladies and gentlemen? > At the very least, if we are sensitive and committed enough to > recognize that such politeness is what this audience values most, > then I think there's no reason we can't have fruitful discussions > about the valid concerns you've raise below; and if we can remain so > polite and responsive, I expect our discussions on this crucial > topic to be interesting indeed! I really hope so, and I _will_ be very polite. You are an example of that it is possible to point out discrepencies and even offenses to Prabhupada in a polite and gentlemanly way. Thank you for your fine and gentle example of behavior. > Yes, I saw that too, and while I'm not interested in list > politics, I would frankly like someone to explain what they feel the > abovementioned behavioral trend has to do with Vaisnavism, who wants > it to occur, where, and why. I can't think of any good reasons either. That's why I suggested that they are forces of Kali, who, knowing or unknowingly, are out to destroy and undermine ISKCON and Srila Prabhupada's teachings

That may be, but here I have to agree with the above; if we can't even treat each other like ladies and gentlemen, how will we treat each other like Vaisnavas? At the very least, if we are sensitive and committed enough to recognize that such politeness is what this audience values most, then I think there's no reason we can't have fruitful discussions about the valid concerns you've raise below; and if we can remain so polite and responsive, I expect our discussions on this crucial topic to be interesting indeed! > Ekanath posted pure filth and Madhusudani > Radha told us how none of us can know how to properly interpret and > understand Srila Prabhupada teachings. Yes, I saw that too, and while I'm not interested in list politics, I would frankly like someone to explain what they feel the abovementioned behavioral trend has to do with Vaisnavism, who wants it to occur, where, and why.
