To put it in a few words, I don't like the simplistic approach, that is to see a philosophy which is presented in dozens volumes of scripture and elaborated in hundreds volumes of commentaries, reduced to a couple of political slogans. I also don't like the selective approach, to concentrate only on certain aspects which the presenter finds agreeable and ignore others. And third, I don't like when the philosophical presentation is spiced with street language. These are some of the things I had in mind when I wrote that when troubled devotees refuse to take help from the philosophy, maybe they are not necessarily against the philosophy itself but against the way it is presented to them as a solution to their problems.
