Guest guest
>>Btw. What Akhilesvara meant with his analogy was that those "Arabs" who criticize and call Americans "demons" for their culture and the way of living, go and consume/distribute the very products of that criticized culture -- themselves. (It had nothing to do with you personally and your family, nor calling anybody here a demon, nor reading into anybody's heart...) >> That's how I read it too. I don't think Akhiles or Mahanidhi would judge anyone harshly for seeking the association of non-ISKCON Vaisnavas. In fact, several of us praised Hariballabha and her husband for providing such a nice model for such an association. That's not what this was about. The reason for the comment was because of one person's criticism of a devotee for doing this, while she herself was doing the same thing (although not mentioning that on this forum). But I saw nothing in Akhiles' text that suggested he likened any conference members to demons. He was simply saying that the hypocrisy shown by one member (not you, Madhu) was similar to the hypocrisy shown by those Algerian "patriots".
