To begin with, I think they'll get over the trauma of being deprived of one or two texts Secondly, it doesn't seem to me (or anyone else for that matter) to be a major quantum leap to understand that on Granddisciples we simply don't promote other gurus' or mathas' books. If you have a problem with that, then perhaps you would reconsider your membership on such a forum. It's hardly a big deal, it's really just a simple little rule, but one that is considered important. As we discussed with Ram Keshava's postings, whether or not Tripurari Swami's Gita is the best thing since etched rocks or not is neither here nor there as far as GD is concerned: it simply doesn't fit within the conference boundaries. I don't know what could be clearer, frankly. > They will probably also never know > (since she left it out of her introduction on that forum) that she will > soon take up the job as manager of Mandala media (www.mandala.org), which > very much promotes (check out their website) the books by those non-ISKCON > gurus/sannyasis. I have no problem with that, but found that somewhat > ironic in light of how she treated Rama Keshava earlier on GD when he > wanted to discuss Swami Tripurari's Gita. "Treatment" of Ram Keshava? Again, you're trying to implant the impression that there is a controversy where there is none, which seems to be a habit. My objection - and that of several other members - to some of his postings doesn't qualify as maltreatment, but you also seem to have your wires crossed about what constitutes maltreatment, so that's another belaboured point.... As for Mandala, you seem to be incredibly excited about my job. But as usual you're uninformed. It's Mandala Publishing, and I'm Operations Manager. And it's really no secret. Forgive me for not writing and telling you as soon as I landed the job - what an oversight on my part I didn't think you'd care as much as you do. I'm touched.
