And the understanding of 'sentiment' must be there - it is most usually contaminated in the biggest way by our conditioning and mental activity. When the 'sentiments' of Caitanya Mahaprabhu are discussed, they in no way resemble our 'sentiments'. Sentimentality is more often a disease than a 'good quality', at least in the case of conditioned souls, and especially in regard to religion and philosophy. Something such as this may be sweetly packaged may seem to be a wonderful thing, but it's still impersonalism, as Madhu says.
