This is another excellent imtroductory book .Succeedent literally means next and cadence denotes endings so it seems logical that Panditji was correct ..Generally there is more flourishing of planets in quadrants then succeedent houses and leastly of cadence . However this is less important than the nature of the house itself .Lord of 1st in 8th is more detrimental for longevity than Lord of 1st in 9th .
