Guest guest
Dear Prabhu's PAMHO AgtSP I need to know the definitive formula for converting Carat's into Rati's. How many Carat's (the weight of a Gemstone) equal a Rati? If someone would please help me with this I would appreciate it very much. Thank you. Guest guest
Dear Dinanatha Prabhu, PAMHO AgtSP Thanks for the help. I received information that a Ratti is .9 Carat from two other sources. Where did you get the information that it is .91 or 182 MG? I hope this meets you in the best of health. I've got it from one of the expensive jewellers shops here in Delhi. If you round the figure 0.91 than you'll get 0.9, that just my speculation, but it seems that that's the way how you got 0.9 ratti per carat. I can try and check this with other jewellers. Tomorrow I am going to Bombay till Monday, so I will not be on COM, if it is not too late for you I can double check this information at the beginning of next week (maybe even earlier if I get a chance). I hope that this meets you well, your servant, Dina-natha Das.
