Saturn leaves Aries in the middle of 2000 .Most people will feel that

Saturn's debilitation is placing restrictions on their lives to some

extent(but nothing like the restrictions on Kosovan refugees).

 

I remember when Saturn was exalted in 1984 .I was in the government

statistics office and simply everyone was getting promoted to positions

outside or within the organization.Throughout the nation thousands of jobs

were being created.A ittle later Gorbachev began to dismantle communism .I

was coming in contact with Iskcon and there were more and more

devotees,temples and lakshmi. I remember Dhystadyumna (then swami) giving a

class in which he advised us fringees to join Iskcon quickly while there was

stii space on the ground floor of Srila Prabhupada's movement.

 

Looking back Rahu was also exalted in Taurus and Ketu in Scorpio.Jupiter was

in it's own sign in Saggitarius .That is the kind of planetary placement we

like to see .George Orwell forgot to consult the ephemeris.

 

Srila Prabhupada made the comment that a good businessman knows how to make

money whether the market is up or down.By this he meant that whether times

are good or hard we should go on with our service,purification and spiritual

advancenent.That makes us expert devotees.

 

I am curious about the milk with turmeric? and black pepper.

Ah ....Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
