Guest guest
Dear Maharajas, Prabhus and respected Matajis, PAMHO AGTSP Perhaps many of you have heard the emotional reports of abuse of women in Vrndavana being made by members of the Women's Ministry. I too was shocked when I heard such stories. But then I was sent the following and things became clearer. It seems that the Women's Ministry did not get their facts straight (or perhaps the facts got in the way) before they made yet another emotional appeal for us to break Vedic culture and whole heartedly embrace feminism. It seems that the GBC EC has also simply accepted their version without checking the facts. May I suggest that you contact your local TP, GBC or guru and apprise them of the facts or at least of this report which contradicts what the feminists enthroned in the Women's Ministry are saying. You may freely distribute this text. yhs shyama >"Christopher Shannon" <cshannon (AT) mdo (DOT) net> >Unmotherly Mothers in Vrindavan >Wed, 10 Nov 1999 08:17:08 -0500 > >Dear Maharajas, Prabhus, and Matas, please accept my humble obeisances. >All >glories to Srila Prabhuapda. > >Last night, my wife called up her sister, who lives in Vrindavan, witnessed >the "beating" incident, and who is married to Mukundadatta Prabhu, the >head-pujari. > >According to my sister-in-law, what happened is as follows: > >With regard to men offering their obeisances in front of Sri Sri >Radha-Syamasundara--particularly sannyasis, it was decided beforehand by >temple authorities that the ladies in front of Sri Sri Radha-Syamasundara >should move back to let them offer their obeisances, and afterwords they >may >come forward as usual. Guest guest
Pamho I believe Lords had really a wonderful event to look at and I believe the Lord in our heart has something to see when the desires in our hearts appear for each of us to fight for our cause. What a wonderful world. I haven't seen yet any connection in this with the astrology, so I just wonder is there some special reason in the stars that made some be so selfishly stuborn on both sides, or for the sides to appear in such a opposition that creates disrespect in front of the Deities.
