Hand-written charts?

Nalini Kantha's book "How to Read Your Own Horoscope" gives instructions how

to calculate a Vedic chart by hand. You will need a good Atlas with accurate

longitudes and latitudes and time changes. You will also need an ephemeris

and Book of Tables of Houses. There still are astrologers who calculate by

hand or have the ability. It is not very hard if you are okay at math and

practice a little. It is also a good idea to not be so dependent on computers

in case some day they are not at our disposal.
