I leave this up to the BBT devotees, like Jayadvaita Swami, to consider. Another common practice is to release beta-versions to a limited amount of beta-testing people before a real release. A part of the mistake here is that I obviously did not compare the calendars that 4.00 produced, to the same calendars produced by earlier versions. I have done that now though with 4.00, and that is how I figured out the 4-5% or 1 ekadasi per year error rate. And I have done it for 4.01 and thus verified that it gives the same result as earlier versions. > Also as I mentioned earlier the Gaudiya Maths want that ISKCON Calendar > Pandits and GM pundits get together and try to work out a truce or agreement > for a combined calendar. Or at least it would become clear what everyone > agrees and disagrees on. I hope that everyone is now happy. I will be happy to change the calendar, if needed, according to the decisions of such a committee. I can take part in such a committee as a technical/astronomical "expert", but when it comes to which celebrations we should include etc. then that is not really my table.
