Guest guest
Haribol to all You can buy pure silver for about six dollars and fifty cents US, per troy oz. I have bought it at coin shops, and some jewelry stores, but they are much more expensive It is not as expensive as say a liter of cheap booze or dinner at a fast food place. If you want to coat a shovel (why on earth would you want to)? There are places that can do it for you. It is called electro plating Places that will coat something with chrome will know who can do silver, Jewelry supply houses carry bulk silver at fair prices. Silver is not that expensive. Guest guest
Electro-plating will corrode with copper and with silver it will come off very quickly. Collecting enough copper and casting sounds the best route, short of buying one ready made.
