Guest guest
>> We are currently doing NPK tests on three wire >> compost bins that are recycling left over (cooked) Prasad, as the pigs >> having been fed this for so long, have become ill. Hare Krsna. >Can you tell us about (the purpose of) your pigs, prabhu? The pigs at Bhaktivedanta Manor were aquired originally by donation, I beleive, for the intention of eating the left over Prasad. There are two pigs of the Vietnamese Pot-bellied variety. They have been lame, and dragging their bellies on the floor! And now they have been taken off that service. Previous discussions have denoted that cows are not meant to eat cooked food. It seems that this would also apply to pigs. Although they can eat a certain amount with no ill effects, but in the long run it is not good for them.
