Good luck in Iceland! They garden in Alaska, so I am sure you can in Iceland.

Potatoes will probably work, sunflowers.

I live in Maine, the Northeast tip of the US. A couple years ago we had a

neighbor

who was from Iceland. After the first big ice storm, I saw him scraping off

his

car in our driveway. I said, "I bet you are used to a lot worse than this

where

you come from." He said, "Oh no, we never have the harsh weather that I've

seen in

Maine. Our weather is much milder than people think." His wife was from the

US,

and said that her Icelandic in-laws and the other Iceland people were very

nice.

So I think Bhakta Dirk should do very well there. Good luck!

your servant,

Hare Krsna dasi
