Comment: Yes this is called 'holistic resource management', if you wish to read more about this there are two books by that name - one is a text by Allen Savory and the other, a companion book with the subtitle 'Workbook' by Sam Bingham and Savory. Like any good disciplic succession they are disciples of Andre Voissin who wrote extensively on pasture management.
