Happy Gaura Purnimal and Haribol:

In Ghana as in all most all developing countries there are what we call farm

agents I don't know what they are called in Ghana. The function of a farm

agent is to help farmers with FREE government information on farming and

sometimes free seeds and sometimes even loans or cash. Of course there are

always conditions placed on the free stuff but all in all it will help you in

the long run. If anyone knows how to get in touch with the United Nations

they have a council on third world farming and also will sometimes send

seeds, fertilizer (yes I know we shouldn't use it) and best of all advisors

who can actually help you get your farm up and running. Until then see if

you can let some of the land poor farmers farm on your land for a share of

the crop. I also understand that a lot of Christian churches have

missionaries in Ghana and they might not be able to give you money but they

might be able to tell you about free aid in Ghana. Most Missionary groups

are familiar with what can be had for free by other "relief organizations"

See if you can find out who these people and organizations are and see if you

can pick up any "free stuff"
